I believe it is authentic, but after running the code on the box through the CheckFresh website it revealed that the Prada Candy perfume I received was manufactured 3.5 yrs ago. Now, I paid $90 for it on Amazon when dept. & makeup stores are currently asking $160 for what I assume is a product that will come with a much more recent manufacturing date. To me, the savings are worth it since the perfume has not 'turned' and is probably still good for another 1.5 yrs in which time I will likely use up the rest.According to Google: Spray perfumes generally have a shelf life of 3-5 yrs from the manufacture date, but this can vary based on formula, quality, & storage conditions. The scent can change, known as oxidation, over time due to air, light, & heat exposure. To maximize your perfume's life, store it in a cool, dark, and temp-stable place with the cap on.Although this is not returnable, if you receive a bottle that has oxidized or is older than expected, you can contact customer svc. and they may refund you w/o sending back.
